Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which a customer may cancel a confirmed booking made through the Auto Rentals platform. Auto Rentals is operated by Auto Rental Essentials LTD within the framework of the Auto Rentals Operators Association of Abuja (AROAA). By making a booking through the Auto Rentals platform, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation Policy. This Policy should be read together with the Auto Rentals Terms & Conditions and Refund Policy.

1. CUSTOMER CANCELLATION

Customers may cancel a confirmed booking at any time, subject to the applicable cancellation terms below. Cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled service Where a customer cancels a booking at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled service time:

*The customer will receive 90% of the applicable booking amount as a refund; and

*10% of the applicable booking amount will be retained as a cancellation charge.

The cancellation charge covers costs associated with booking administration, operator coordination, and other arrangements made in preparation for the scheduled service. Cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled service Where a customer cancels a booking less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled service time:

*The booking is non-refundable; and

*The customer will not be entitled to a partial refund under the standard cancellation policy.

Customers are therefore encouraged to make cancellation requests as early as possible.
